My experience

Kareem Assassa is a natural-born entrepreneur. He left high school during his final year to enter the workforce, securing his first job as a cell phone salesman in a kiosk at a mall. There, he learned to handle constant rejection in sales and thrived in the retail environment. His innate sales abilities led him into medical diagnostic sales, where at the age of 19, he became the youngest sales consultant for a medical diagnostic company in Beverly Hills, earning a six-figure income by the end of his first year.

At 22, Kareem Assassa pursued one of his childhood dreams and established a professional production studio. He began producing, recording, and mastering music across various genres, collaborating with recording artists from around the world. Kareem valued music primarily as a listener rather than as a career path, so he dedicated the majority of his energy to his own professional advancement. Over the next few years, his passion for sales continued to flourish alongside a newfound hobby. During a visit to his camera enthusiast cousins in Europe, Kareem discovered photography and quickly immersed himself in it.

His new hobby soon became a profitable passion. At 25, Kareem Assassa launched his second business The Beverly Hills Photographer, gaining popularity among the affluent residents of Beverly Hills. He was frequently sought after to photograph renowned entrepreneurs and industry leaders, forming friendships with many of his clients and eagerly learning about their paths to success. Seeking mentorship, he decided to pursue a college education, earning a degree in Organizational Leadership with a Specialization in Project Management.

Motivated to apply his newfound knowledge, Kareem transitioned into a leadership role with a leading aesthetics training organization in Beverly Hills, California. His educational background served him well as he excelled in his role, revamping the entire operation and establishing international partnerships that expanded their association into the global market.

With a deepened understanding of operations and project management, Kareem rekindled his passion for entrepreneurship and co-founded the International Academy of Aesthetics (IAA), the world’s first pre-COVID online academy dedicated to aesthetic medicine, dental aesthetics, and cosmetic surgery training. Shortly thereafter, he achieved his lifelong goal of earning an MBA.

Currently, Kareem finds fulfillment in overseeing his businesses, while also helping professionals achieve their career aspirations through sales enablement at an innovative tech firm. Learn more about Kareem Assassa.
